Herne Bay is back
After investment and community input, Herne Bay is back up and running, and is now better than ever. In the last two decades new developments have grown in Herne Bay and more properties have come on to the market. The town is within close proximity of the seaside resorts of Thanet including Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs, also the historic city Canterbury and has relatively competitive property prices when compared to neighbouring towns such as Whitstable.

Along the coastal trail you can find a number of landmarks including tributes to aviator Amy Johnson CBE and Sir Barnes Neville Wallis, the inventor of the bouncing bomb as used by Royal Air Force 617 Squadron in WWII (AKA The Dambusters) which was tested off the coast of Herne Bay. The sandy cliffs at Bishopstone offer fossil hunting and beach combing opportunities at low tide while further along you will find the remains of a Roman fort and derelict church at Reculver which act as a landmark for small boats.
